Nancy's Kitchen - Tried and Tested Recipes
Dear Abby Meatloaf
I failed to keep the
name of the person wanting a traditional
meatloaf recipe that holds together
during baking and is easy to slice. I
know this recipe has appeared in past
newsletters, but with new readers
thought it was worth resubmitting. The
recipe is attributed to the advice
columnist, Dear Abby, which many of our
mothers and grandmothers read
faithfully. This meatloaf recipe is one
that we ate often, when we were growing
up. I have included a recipe for dry
onion soup mix that you can make rather
than buying it, as that will allow you
to control the amount of salt used.
