Butterscotch Brownies Recipe

1/2 c. butter, melted
2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1-1/4 c. sifted all purpose flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chopped nuts, if desired

Mix all in the pan used for baking. Bake in a 9-inch square pan at 325 degrees for about 30 minutes. Do not overcook, it should be gummy. Cool in the pan. Cut into squares.
