Milky Way Magic Bars Recipe

1 pouch of sugar cookie mix and what you need to make it (17.5 oz)
2 large milky way bars, chopped into bite sized pieces
1 cup chocolate chips
1 can sweetened condensed milk\

Preheat your oven to 375. Spray a 9 by 13 pan with cooking spray and set aside.
Mix the cookie mix and press it into the bottom of the pan.
Top the cookie dough with the Milky Way bars and the chocolate chips. Then pour the sweetened condensed milk evenly over the bars.
Bake for 25 to 28 minutes or until the whole top is a golden brown.
Let cool. Cut into them and enjoy!

Chicken and Broccoli Casserole Recipe

1/4 c butter
1/4 c onion, chpd
1/4 c flour
1 ts Salt
1 ts Pepper
1 large cn evaporated milk
1 pk Froz broccoli spears, cooked
1 chicken, cooked, cubed
1 c cheese, shredded

Saute onion in margarine; stir in flour, salt and pepper. Drain mushrooms, reserving liquid; add water to make 1/2 cup liquid. Gradually stir into flour mixture in skillet. Blend in milk until smooth. Add mushrooms. Cook and stir over medium heat until sauce begins to thicken. Arrange a layer of chicken with the broccoli spears on top in a 9x13 baking dish. Pour sauce over chicken and broccoli. Top with cheese. Bake 375 for 20 min. Let sit 15 min before serving.

Pressure Cooker Pork Chops and Rice Recipe

4 Pork Chops
1 tb Fat or drippings
4 tb Uncooked rice
4 sl Onion
4 sl Green pepper
2 c Canned tomatoes
1 ts Salt
1/2 ts Pepper

Brown chops well on both sides in cooker in melted drippings. Place rack under chops in cooker. On each chop put a tablespoon of rice, a slice of onion and green pepper, and a section of tomato. Add salt and pepper and cover with liquid from tomatoes. Pressure cook at 15 lbs. pressure for 15 minutes. Reduce pressure immediately.
Serve 4.

Pork Chop Parmigiana Recipe

4 Boneless porkchops
4 sl Mozerella cheese
3 c Spaghetti sauce
Cooked spaghetti enough for four

Brown porkchops in frying pan. Place in 2 inch deep baking dish.

Put a slice of cheese over each chop. Cover with sauce and bake in a 350 degree oven for 45 mins (1 hour if very thick chops).

Serve over your favourite spaghetti with a little extra sauce.

Sue's Salad Recipes

Almond Chicken Salad Recipe

2 c Diced chicken
1 c Green grapes; halved
1/2 c Toasted almonds
1 c Miracle Whip or Dukes Salad Dressing
1/2 c sour cream
White pepper

Combine sour cream and mayo, and add to diced chicken till thourougly mixed.

Add grapes, being careful not to smash them.

Then add almonds, salt and pepper, and refrigerate.
Makes 2 Servings


Apple Cheddar Salad Recipe

2 sm Red apples quartered thinly, sliced
2 ts Lemon juice
2 c Thin sliced celery
6 oz Natural mild cheddar flavor, cheese cut into small cubes
1/4 c Reduce calorie mayonnaise
Dash salt and pepper

Place apples in small bowl; toss with lemon juice. Add celery and next 4 ingredients; toss to coat. Serve on lettuce lined plate.
Makes 2 Servings


Shrimp Salad Recipe

2 eggs, hardboiled, chopped
1 can water chestnuts*
3/4 c Miracle Whip Salad Dressing
1 lb Shrimp; cooked
2 tb Lemon juice
1/2 c Celery; chopped fine
1 ts Dried dillweed; or curry

Combine all ingredients, except shrimp. Fold in shrimp gently. Chill thoroughly before serving.
Makes 4 Servings


Shredded Carrot Salad Recipe

4 md Carrots, shredded
1 tb Chopped fresh parsley
1 tb Basil
1 tb Scallions
3 tb Lemon juice
2 tb Safflower oil
Salt & pepper

Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl, toss and serve.
Makes 4 Servings

Mary J's Cookie Recipes

Lemon Drop Cookies Recipe

1 c shortening
2 c sugar
1/4 c emon juice
1/2 c water
1 ts Baking soda
1 ts cream of tartar
3 c flour

Beat shortening for 30 seconds. Add sugar & continue to beat till light and fluffy. Combine lemon juice & water. Combine the dry ingredients. Alternately mix the dry & wet ingredients with the beaten mixture. Mix well. Drop by spoonful onto a greased cookie sheet.
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes at 450F.
Makes about 5 Dozen

Rice Krispies Treat

1/4 c Margarine or butter
1 pk (10 Oz.) (about 40) marshmallows
6 c Rice Krispies cereal
1/2 c M&M's candy or Reese's Pieces or nuts

Melt margarine in large pan over low heat. Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted. Remove from heat. Add rice cereal and stir until well coated. Mix in desired extra or leave plain. Using a buttered spatula or wax paper, press mixture evenly into a buttered 13x9x2-inch pan. Let cool; cut into squares.

Caramel Rice Krispie Bars Recipe

3/4 c Margarine
8 c Mini marshmallows
8 c Rice Krispies
14 oz Caramels
14 oz Sweetened condensed milk

Melt 1/4 cup margarine and 4 cups marshmallows. Add 4 cups Rice Krispies. Pat in buttered 9 x 13 inch pan. Melt caramels, 1/4 cup margarine and sweetened condensed milk together. Pour over Rice Krispies in pan. Refrigerate 30 to 40 minutes. Prepare another Rice Krispie mixture like the first. Put on top of caramel layer. Keep refrigerated.

Zucchini Drop Cookies Recipe

1 c grated zucchini
1 ts baking soda
1 c sugar
1/2 c shortening or butter
1 egg, beaten
2 c flour
1 ts cinnamon
1/2 ts ground cloves
1/2 ts Salt
1 c chopped nuts
1 c raisins

Mix together zucchini, soda, sugar, butter, and beaten egg. Sift in flour, cinnamon, cloves, and salt. Stir to blend. Stir in raisins and nuts and drop batter by the teaspoonful on greased cookie sheet. Bake in preheated 375F oven 12-15 minutes.
Makes 3 dozen.
