Fae's Broccoli Casserole Recipe

2 (14 oz.) frozen chopped broccoli ( I use Walmart GV brand)
1 can (10 3/4 oz) cream of celery soup (ok using creamed mushroom or chicken) (undiluted)
4 oz. shredded cheddar cheese ( about 1 cup)
3/4 cup mayonnaise ( I only use 3 Tbsp.)
2 eggs
3 Tbsp. chopped onion
1 2 oz. jar chopped pimento (optional)

1 cup Kraft Herbed seasoned stove top dressing
Melt 1/2 to 3/4 stick butter (and pour over the dry mixture) Mix well.
I use a zip lock bag, and make mine the day before.

Preheat oven 325. Cook broccoli by pkg. directions. Drain. Combine broccoli, soup, cheese, mayo. eggs and onion. Pour in to greased 8 inch baking dish. Combine stove top dressing with butter. Sprinkle over mixture. Bake 25-30 min. until top is slightly brown, and mixture bubbling. You can used 38 saltines crushed instead of the Stove top dressing. We prefer the stove top dressing.

(I prefer to put the topping on the last 15 minutes of the baking)

I mix mine up the day before baking, except for the eggs. Next morning beat eggs good, and add to mixture. If it seems a little dry, I use some canned Chicken stock, and mix some until I get consistence I want. Of course the eggs sets the casserole
