Lemon Dump Cake Recipe

I made this cake last night. It is a keeper. I downloaded it sometime in 2010 but did not try it until last night. I have many recipes I have collected from this newsletter.

Lemon Dump Cake Recipe

1 pkg. pound cake mix
1/4 cup cooking oil
3/4 cup apricot nectar
1 box (3 oz.) lemon Jell-O
1 tsp. almond extract
4 eggs

Dump all ingredients, except eggs, in a mixing bowl. Beat mixture at medium speed, until well combined. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each. Pour batter into greased and floured 10 inch tube pan. Bake at 350 for about 1 hour, or until tests done. Pour glaze over top while still hot. Remove from pan when cooled.

Lemon Glaze:
Mix together in small bowl, 1 cup powdered sugar, 1 tbsp. butter and 2 tbsp. lemon juice (1 lemon).
