Tuna Apple Salad Recipe

4 or 5 Granny Smith apples, cored and chunked
1 lb. pasta shells, cooked to taste
3 (7-oz.) cans white tuna packed in water
1-1/2 c. mayonnaise, or to taste
1/2 c. plain yogurt or sour cream
2 to 3 T. lemon juice
1 T. onion powder
1 T. white pepper, or to taste
salt to taste

Core and chunk apples, leave skins on. Cook pasta according to package directions, drain, cool and place in large bowl with apples. Open tuna, drain liquid, place in food processor with mayonnaise, yogurt or sour cream, lemon juice and spices. Mix to a creamy consistency, then toss with pasta and apples. You may want to add more mayonnaise if not creamy enough for your taste.
