This has been a must have for our holidays for many years.

Mini bundt recipe for Millie:

Mini Blueberry Bundt Cakes Recipe

Ingredients
1/4 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg
1/4 cup 2% milk
1/2 t. vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 t. baking powder
1/4 t. salt
1-1/2 cups fresh or frozen blueberries

Lemon Icing:
1/2 cup confectioners' sugar
1 1/2 t. 2% milk
1 t. lemon juice
Additional blueberries, optional

Directons
In a small mixing bowl, cream butter & sugar. Beat in egg, milk & vanilla.
Combine flour, baking powder & salt; stir into creamed mixture. Fold in blueberries.
Pour into three 4" fluted tube pans coated w/ Pam. Bake 350, 25 -30 min. Cool 10 min.
before removing from pans to wire racks to cool completely.

For Icing: in small bowl, combine confectioners' sugar, milk & lemon juice; drizzle over cakes. Garnish w/ additional berries if desired.
Yield: 3 servings.

If using frozen blueberries, do not thaw before adding to batter.

Judy's Creamy Onion Garlic Bread Recipe

Ingredients
2 tsp olive oil
1/4 cup minced green onions
4 cloves garlic minced
4 oz cream cheese room temp
1/4 cup butter room temp
1/4 cu[ mayo
1/4 cup shredded parmesan cheese
1 tsp garlic powder
salt and pepper to taste
2 tsp parsley flakes or chopped fresh parsley
1 loaf french bread

Directions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Put minced green onions, olive oil and garlic in a skillet. Saute for 2 minutes until garlic is soft and fragrant.Take off heat and set aside.
In a bowl stir together cream cheese, butter and mayo, mix well. Next add parmesan cheese, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Pour onion - garlic mixture and stir together with cheese mixture.
Slice bread in half lengthwise, spread cut sides of bread with mixture.
Bake for 10 minutes, till the topping has warmed through and bread has golden edges.

Judy's Honey Pork Roast Recipe

Ingredients
1- 3-4 lb boneless pork roast
2/3 cup grated parmesan cheese
1/2cup honey
3 Tbsp soy sauce
1 Tbsp dried basil
1 Tbsp dried oregano
2 Tbsp minced garlic
2 Tbsp olive oil
1/2 tsp salt
2 Tbsp cornstarch
1/4 cup chicken broth

Directions
Place roast in crockpot.
In a bowl mix cheese, honey, soy sauce,basil, oregano olive oil and salt. Pour mix over roast.

Cover, cook on low for 6 - 8 hours. Place roast on platter. Strain juices and put into a small pan.Mix cornstarch and chicken broth together. Add to strained juices and stir until thickened.

Slice roast and serve with honey glaze. Enjoy !! Have no idea where this came from some years ago but it very good.

Judy's Pretzel Cream Recipe

A friend just gave me this recipe as I asked for it. She served it ata party

Ingredients
2 cups crushed pretzels
3/4 cup melted butter
2 Tbsp sugar

Filling
8 oz softened cream cheese
1 cup sugar
1 - 8 oz carton cool whip, thawed

Topping
2 cups boiling water
1/2 cup cold water
2- 3 oz pkgs strawberry jello
fresh strawberries and additional whipped topping

Preheat oven to 350*. Mix crushed pretzel, melted butter and sugar together well. Press onto bottom of 13x9 ungreased baking dish. Bake 10 minutes then cool.

Filling
Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Stir in whipped topping; spread over crust. Refrigerate, covered, until cold.

In bowl, dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Stir in cold water; refrigerate until partially set. Pour carefully over filling. Refrigerate, covered til firm, 4-6 hours.
Cut into squares. If desired, serve with strawberries and additional whipped topping.
Serves 6 - 8 ENJOY !!! Judy in Montana

Christmas Cranberry Muffins Recipes

Ingredients
1 c cranberries
1/4 c sugar
1 1/2 c flour
1/4 c sugar
2 ts baking powder
1 ts salt
1/2 ts cinnamon
1/4 ts allspice
1 egg, beaten
1/4 ts orange rind
3/4 c orange juice
1/3 c butter, melted
1/4 c Nuts, chopped

Directions
Coarsely chop cranberries, sprinkle with 1/4 cup sugar & set aside. Preheat oven to 375oF, prepare pans. Combine flour, 2nd measure sugar, baking powder, salt, cinnamon & allspice. In another bowl combine egg, orange rind & juice and melted butter. Add dry mix to wet mix & stir to moisten. Fold in cranberry mixture ands nuts. Spoon into pans and bake for 15-20 mins or until golden.
Makes 9 large muffins.

Glazed Cranberry Trail Mix Christmas Gift Recipe

Ingredients
1 c almonds, whole
2 c pretzels
1 c dried cranberries
1 egg white
1/2 c sugar
1/2 ts ground cinnamon
1/2 ts salt

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spread almonds evenly on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake 7 - 8 minutes or until nuts are slightly darker in color. Cool completely.

Reduce oven temperature to 225 degrees. In a large bowl, combine almonds, pretzels, and cranberries. In a small bowl, beat egg white till foamy.

Pour over pretzel mixture; toss until well coated. In another small bowl, combine remaining ingredients. Sprinkle over pretzel mixture; toss until well coated. Spread evenly on a greased baking sheet. Bake 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Cool completely on pan. Store in an airtight container.

Lisa's Pickled Red Eggs Recipe

Ingredients
16 Hard boiled eggs, cooled, and shelled.
1 c Beet juice
3 c Cider vinegar
1 ts EACH, whole cloves,allspice, and peppercorns
1/2" piece ginger root

Ingredients
Pack the eggs in 2 quart jars. Combine beet juice, vinegar, and spices in a saucepan and simmer 10 minutes. Pour over eggs, seal, let cool and chill. Refrigerate a few days to allow flavors to permeate the eggs. Small cooked beets may also be pickled along with the eggs.

Lisa's Peanut Butter Bonbon Candy Recipe

Ingredients
1 c Peanut butter; chunky
2 tb butter
1 c powdered sugar, sifted
1-1/2 c Nuts; finely chopped
6 oz real semisweet chocolate chips
1 ts solid vegetable shortening;solid

Directions
Combine peanut butter, butter and powdered sugar, stirring until smooth. Shape into balls. Melt chocolate and shortening over hot (not boiling) water. Dip balls into chocolate, cool slightly and roll in chopped nuts. Put balls onto waxed paper lined baking sheet and refrigerate until firm.

Sharon's Gumdrop Cake Recipe

Ingredients
1 c gumdrops, do not use black ones
1/2 c raisins
2 c flour;all purpose
1 ts baking powder
1/2 ts baking soda
1 ts ground cinnamon
1 ts ground nutmeg
1 pinch salt
1 c unsalted butter
1 c sugar
3 eggs
1 c applesauce
1 lemon rind, grated

Directions
Freeze the cake until Christmas or refrigerate up to two weeks."

Preheat the oven to 350F. Cut the gumdrops into small pieces leaving out the black ones. In a small bowl, toss with the raisins and 1/2 c flour. Reserve. In a separate bowl, combine the baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt with the remaining flour.

In a large bowl, cream the butter until light and fluffy. Gradually beat in the sugar. Beat in the eggs, one at a time. Stir in the applesauce, flour mixture and lemon rind. Fold in the gumdrop and raisin mixture.

Butter a 9 X 5 inch loaf pan and line with buttered wax or parchment paper. Pour in the batter.

Bake for 1 to 1-1/2 hours or till knife inserted comes out clean. Turn out the cake and let it cool completely. Wrap well with foil and store for 1 to 2 weeks in the refrigerator. Freeze if keeping longer than 2 weeks.
MAKES: 1 loaf

Pina Colada Bread in Jar Christmas Gift Recipe

Ingredients
1 (20 ounce) can crushed pineapple
1 c margarine (room temperature)
3-1/2 c brown sugar, packed
4 egg, whipped
1/2 c rum
3 1/3 c uUnbleached flour
1-1/2 ts baking powder
1 ts baking soda
1 c coconut, shredded

Directions
Preheat oven at 325. Before starting batter, wash 8 (1 pint) wide mouth canning jars with lids in hot soapy water and let drain, dry, and cool to room temperature. Generously prepare jars with cooking spray and flour. Drain pineapple for 10 minutes, reserving juice. Puree drained pineapple in a blender. Measure out 1 1/2 cups puree, adding a little juice if necessary to make 1 1/2 cups. Set puree aside. Discard remaining juice. In a mixing bowl, combine applesauce, half brown sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs and pineapple puree. Set aside. In another mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and baking soda. Gradually, add to pineapple mixture in thirds, beating well with each addition. Stir in coconut. Spoon 1 level cupful of batter into each jar. Carefully wipe rims clean, then place jars on baking sheet (or they'll tip over) in the center of oven.

Bake 40 minutes. Keep lids in hot water until they're used. When cakes are done, remove jars which are HOT from oven one at a time. If rims need cleaning, use moistened paper towel. Carefully put lids and rings in place, then screw tops on tightly shut. Place jars on a wire rack; they will seal as they cool.

Once jars are cool, decorate with round pieces of cloth and then glue on flowers, ribbons, etc. on lid, ring and side of jar. Unscrew the ring (the lid should be sealed by now) and place a few cotton balls on top of the lid (makes it it cute on top), then a piece of cloth (about 3" larger than the lid) on top and screw the ring back on. Decorate as desired (example pinking shears).

Gingerbread in a Jar Christmas Gift Recipe

Ingredients
8 wide mouth pint jars
8 lids
8 rings

Batter
2-1/4 c unbleached flour
3/4 c granulated sugar
1 ts baking soda
1/2 ts baking powder
1/4 ts salt
2 ts ginger
1 ts cinnamon
1/2 ts cloves
3/4 c margarine, softened
3/4 c water
1/2 c molasses

Directions
Preheat oven at 325. Place a baking sheet onto middle rack and remove top rack from oven. Before starting batter, wash 12 wide mouth pint jars, lids, and rings in hot soapy water and let drain, dry, and cool to room temperature. Generously prepare inside of jars with margarine. To prepare batter, combine flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder, salt, ginger, cinnamon, and cloves in a mixing bowl. In another mixing bowl, combine margarine, water and molasses. Divide batter among 5 jars (should be slightly less than half full). Carefully wipe rims clean, then place jars on baking sheet (or they'll tip over) in the center of oven. Bake 40 minutes. Keep lids in hot water until they're used. When cakes are done, remove jars which are HOT from oven one at a time. If rims need cleaning, use moistened paper towel. Carefully put lids and rings in place, then screw tops on tightly shut. Place jars on a wire rack; they will seal as they cool.

Once jars are cool, decorate with round pieces of cloth and then glue on flowers, ribbons, etc. on lid, ring and side of jar. Ingredients
8 wide mouth print jars (12 ounce)
8 lids
8 rings

Batter
1 c margarine, softened
3 c granulated sugar
4 egg whites, whipped
1 tb vanilla
1 ts almond extract
2 c applesauce, room temperature
3 c unbleached flour
3/4 c cocoa powder; sifted
1 ts baking soda
1/2 ts baking powder
1/8 ts Salt

Directions
Preheat oven at 325. Place a baking sheet onto middle rack and remove top rack from oven. Before starting batter, wash 8 (1 pint) wide mouth canning jars with lids in hot soapy water and let drain, dry, and cool to room temperature. Generously prepare jars with margarine. In a mixing bowl, combine margarine, sugar, egg whites, vanilla, almond extract, and applesauce. In another mixing bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Mix wet ingredients with dry ingredients just until moistened. Spoon 1 level cupful of batter into each jar. Carefully wipe rims clean, then place jars on baking sheet (or they'll tip over) in the center of oven. Bake 40 minutes. Keep lids in hot water until they're used. When cakes are done, remove jars which are HOT from oven one at a time. If rims need cleaning, use moistened paper towel. Carefully put lids and rings in place, then screw tops on tightly shut. Place jars on a wire rack; they will seal as they! cool.

8 lids
8 Rings

Batter
1 c raisins
2 c unbleached flour
2 ts Baking soda
1/4 ts Baking powder
1/2 ts Salt
2 ts Cloves
2 ts Cinnamon
1 ts Ginger
4 eggs, whipped
2 c granulated sugar
1 c margarine, softened
2 c pumpkin (canned)

Directions
Preheat oven at 325. Place a baking sheet onto middle rack and remove top rack from oven. Before starting batter, wash jars, lids, and rings in hot soapy water and let drain, dry, and cool to room temperature. Generously prepare inside of jars with margarine. To prepare batter, combine raisins, flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cloves, cinnamon, and ginger in a mixing bowl. In another mixing bowl, combine eggs, sugar, margarine, and pumpkin. Divide batter among 8 jars (should be slightly less than half full). Carefully wipe rims clean, then place jars on baking sheet (or they'll tip over) in the center of oven. Bake 40 minutes. Keep lids in hot water until they're used. When cakes are done, remove jars which are HOT from oven one at a time. If rims need cleaning, use moistened paper towel. Carefully put lids and rings in place, then screw tops on tightly shut. Place jars on a wire rack; they will seal as they cool.

4 wide mouth canning jars; (1-1/2 pint )
4 lids
4 rings

Batter
3 egg whites, whipped
2 c granulated sugar
1 c margarine, at room temperature
2 c zucchini; grated
1 ts vanilla
3 c unbleached flour
1 ts salt
1 ts baking soda
1 ts baking powder
2 ts cinnamon
1/4 ts nutmeg
1/4 ts cloves

Directions
Preheat oven at 325 degrees. Place a baking sheet onto middle rack and remove top rack from oven. Before starting batter, wash jars, lids, and rings in hot soapy water and let drain, dry, and cool to room temperature. Generously prepare inside of jars with margarine. To prepare batter, combine flour, salt, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves. In another mixing bowl, combine egg whites, sugar, margarine, and zucchini. For Athena who's looking for Julia Child's turkey gravy, found something toward the middle of this page. Leaves out some details on measurements but maybe can improvise from here. Does sound really good.

Granny's Giblet Gravy Recipe

Ingredients
8 c Broth
4 tb Roux (8 tbsp. flour and 8 tbsp. butter, mixed)
Neck; liver and gizzard, cooked and chopped
6 Hard-boiled eggs; chopped
2 tb Parsley; chopped

Directions
Bring broth to a boil and thicken with roux. (Add more roux to desired gravy thickness) Remove meat from cooked neck and liver and gizzard. Chop meat and add to broth. Add eggs, parsley and pimento and season to taste.
Makes about 2 quarts gravy.

Sharon's Cranberry Fudge Recipe

Ingredients
1/2 c milk
1/2 c light cream
1 tb corn syrup
2 c sugar
1/2 c cranberries
1 tb butter
1 tb vanilla

Directions
Butter the sides of a heavy saucepan. Combine all ingredients except cranberries. Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture boils. Cook to soft ball stage (238 on candy thermometer). Remove from heat and let cool to about 110 degrees. Do nit stir while it is cooling. Add butter and vanilla. Beat until thick and no longer glossy. Stir in 1/2 cup cranberries. Spread in a buttered pan. Score while warm and cut into squares when cool.

Christmas Rollout Cookies Recipe

Ingredients
3/4 c butter, softened
1-1/2 c sugar
2 eggvanilla
3 c flour, sifted
2-1/2 ts baking powder

Directions
In a large mixer bowl at medium speed, beat butter and sugar. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Mix flour and baking powder and stir into butter mixture. Divide dough into thirds; shpae into balls and flatten slightly; wrap in plastic and refrigerate for 3 hours or overnight. Roll into 1/8" thickness and cut. Bake at 375 degrees for 6 minutes or almost lightly browned. Cool and decorate with your favorite icing.
Makes about 24 cutout cookies

Christmas Popcorn Balls Recipes

ingredients
1 c light corn syrup
1/2 c sugar
1 sm Jello; red or green flavors
1/2 lb Salted peanuts; coarse chop
9 c Popped popcorn

Bring syrup and sugar to a boil. Remove from heat and add Jell-O Gelatin, stirring until dissolved. Add peanuts and pour over popcorn, mixing well. Quickly form into 1-1/2" balls.
Makes about 4 dozen.

Christmas Pumpkin Cookies Recipe

Ingredients
3 c pumpkin (canned works well)
1 c shortening
2 c white sugar
4 c flour
2 ts soda
2 ts salt
2 ts baking powder
2 ts vanilla
2 eggs
2 ts cinnamon
1 lg bag chocolate chips
1 jar marichino cherries, chopped

Directions
Cream together pumpkin, shortening, white sugar. Then add and mix flour, soda, salt, baking powder. Then add and mix vanilla, eggs, cinnamon. Then add and mix chocolate chips, cherries, nuts. Drop by spoonful on greased cooie sheets. Bake for 12 - 14 minutes at 375 degreees.

Peppermint Hot Chocolate Recipe

Ingredients
1 c hot chocolate; prepared
1/4 teaspoon peppermint extract
whipped topping
1 whole candy cane, crushed

Directions
Pour peppermint extract into a 10-ounce mug. Stir in hot chocolate. Top with whipped cream. Add a candy cane stirrer or sprinkle with crushed candy cane, if desired.
