Austrian Caraway Steak Strips Recipe

1 lb. beef round steak cut into bite size strips
1 cup chopped onion
1 cup thinly sliced carrots
1 clove garlic, minced
2 Tbsp. cooking oil
3/4 cup beef broth
1 Tbsp red wine vinegar
3/4 tsp. caraway seed
1/2 tsp dried marjoram, crushed
1/4 tsp salt
dash pepper
4 tsp flour
3/4 cup sour cream
Hot cooked noodles

In a skillet cook beef, onion, carrot and garlic in oil until the meat is browned and the onion is tender.

Stir in beef broth, vinegar, caraway, marjoram salt and pepper. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat , cover and simmer 15 minutes. Stir the flour into the sour cream. Blend into beef mixture. Heat until thickened, but do not boil. Serve over noodles.
Serves 4 to 5
