Baked Penne Pasta Skillet Recipe
Serves 5-6

1 T olive oil
1 cup chopped onion
1 tsp. dried basil
1/4 cup white wine
1 lb. penne pasta
1 jar (24 oz.) marinara sauce
1 jar (14.5 oz.) alfredo sauce
2 cups (8 oz.) shredded mozzarella cheese

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Pam spray a 13x9 inch pan covered with foil. Cook pasta to al dente. Saute onion and basil in hot oil 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in wine. Cook 1 minute. In large bowl, stir together both sauces, onion mixture, and 1 cup cheese. Add cooked pasta. Stir gently. Pour into prepared pan. Cover; bake 25-30 minutes. Stir. If not hot enough, replace in oven. When hot enough, top with remaining 1 cup cheese. Bake 5-7 minutes til cheese is bubbly. Serves 5-6.
