Pork Chops with Rice Recipe
Makes 4 Servings

4 (1")thick pork chops
1 can Golden Mushroom Soup
1 tsp. ground ginger
1 can French Fried Onion Rings

For Rice:
2 Tbsp butter
1/4 cup slivered almonds
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 cup raw rice
1/4 cup water
1 can beef consomme

Brown chops. Place in a greased casserole. Mix soup with ginger and pour over chops. Top with onion rings. Bake 1-1/2 hours, covered , at 400.

In butter, saute almonds and garlic.

Add consomme, water and rice. Bring to a boil. Place in a separate greased casserole and bake in the oven with the chops.
