I am trying to find a recipe that my mom use to make called Ooie Gooie cake. It is a dump cake.

Absolutely love your newsletter and all of the recipes on it. I am looking for a recipe that I think is called "Inside-out stuffed cabbage". The cabbage isn't actually stuffed, just part of the recipe. Would love to have a recipe that is easier then the original stuffed cabbage.

Love your website. I think some of the best cooks in America are on this website! A long time ago, I had a recipe for zucchini pie and the crust was made with refrigerator pizza dough (in a can). I lost it when I moved and hope someone out there might have the recipe. Would really appreciate it.

When you make your own tortillas, they're better. Homemade tortillas are terrific. Here you will find spicy to mild tortilla mixes. They are easy to make and take no special tools. A rolling pin will do. Just add water and a little oil to make a soft pliable dough. Roll them as thin as you like.

Key Lime Mug Pie Recipe

1 t. lime zest
1 egg yolk
1 1/2 T lime juice
1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
2 graham crackers, crushed
1 T butter
1/2 cup whipped cream
1-3 t. sugar

Preheat 325. Spray mug with non-stick cooking spray. In small bowl, whisk zest & egg yolk. Add juice & condensed milk. Set aside. Put cracker crumbs & butter in mug & microwave 30 seconds or until butter melts. Stir until completely combined. Press against bottom & sides of mug to form crust. Spoon filling into mug & bake in oven 5-8 min. or until slightly set. Remove & chill. Whip cream, adding sugar little at a time, to desired sweetness. Top with whipped cream before serving.

Mom's Broccoli Casserole Recipe

1 pkg. frozen chopped broccoli, cooked and drained
Salt and pepper to season
1 beaten egg
1/2 can mushroom soup
1/4 c. mayonnaise
Sm. amount of diced onion
1-1/2 tsp. lemon juice
1/2 c. grated cracker barrel cheese
Ritz crackers, crushed

Grease casserole. Add salt, pepper, and beaten egg to cooked, drained broccoli and stir. In a medium size bowl, mix soup, mayonnaise, onion, lemon juice, and cheese. Add broccoli mixture and cheese mixture alternately to casserole, beginning with broccoli and ending with cheese. Top with crushed Ritz crackers, dot with butter. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes.

Hamburger Stuffing Recipe

1 lb. hamburger - or combination of pork and hamburger if you like
1 Med. finely chopped onion
4 Med. potatoes
1/2 tsp. Sage
Salt and Pepper to taste

Boil the potatoes until done. Cool. Mash the potatoes, add all the rest of the ingredients then stuff your bird. You can adjust the quantities to fit the size of the bird you are stuffing. I have added raisins to it on occasion for a fruiter taste. Hope you like it!!

Lisas Cabbage Casserole Recipe

1 lb ground beef
1 cup white rice
1 jar spaghetti sauce
1/2 head cabbage cut into bite size pieces
1 onion
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Brown beef with onion: season as desired. Wash and slice cabbage and put into 9x13" pan. In a bowl mix spaghetti sauce, rice and meat. Pour over the top of cabbage. Cover with cheese and cook at 350 degrees for 1 to 1- 1/2 hours covering with foil during last 30 minutes.

Alfredo Rotini Recipe

15 ounces ricotta cheese
2 eggs, beaten
2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
3 tablespoons minced fresh parsley
1/2 teaspoon salt
pinch black pepper
12 ounces rotini, cooked and drained
28 ounces alfredo sauce

Preheat oven to 350F. In a medium bowl, combine ricotta cheese, eggs, 1 cup mozzarella cheese, parsley, salt and pepper; stir to mix well. In another bowl, combine hot cooked pasta and alfredo sauce. Layer half of pasta mixture in an 11 x 7 inch baking dish. Evenly layer with cheese mixture and remaining pasta mixture. Bake, covered, 35 to 40 minutes or until bubbly. Uncover; top with remaining mozzarella cheese. Bake 5 minutes or until cheese melts.
Makes 4-5 servings

Chicken Kabobs Recipe

1 lb. chicken breast, boned & skinless cut into 1/2" strips
1/2 c. French salad dressing
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. lemon juice
8 slices of bacon

In a 2 quart baking dish or plastic bag, combine dressing.
Worcestershire sauce and lemon juice. Mix well. Add chicken, turn
to coat. Marinade in refrigerator for 2-3 hours; turning once.
Drain chicken (save the juice). Thread chicken and bacon pieces
alternately on 12 inch skewers. Place on grill (BBQ) for 15
minutes, turning and brushing often with remaining marinade.
4-5 Servings

Susan's Grilled Vegetables Recipe

2 c. frozen mixed broccoli
2 c. frozen French-style green beans
2 c. onions
2 c. red pepper
2 tbsp. water
2 tbsp. margarine
1/2 tsp. finely shredded lemon peel
1/8 tsp. lemon-pepper seasoning

Place above ingredients in a 18 x 36 inch piece of heavy-duty foil folded in half and made into a pouch. Seal edges, leaving space for steam to build. Place on grill for 25-30 minutes or till crisp-tender, turning occasionally.
Makes 4 servings

Grilled Lemon Pepper on the Cob Recipe

1/3 c. butter or margarine
3 tbsp. Dijon mustard
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp. lemon pepper
6 fresh ears of corn (husks and silks removed)

In saucepan melt butter; stir in mustard, Worcestershire sauce and lemon pepper. Place each ear of corn on a 12 x 9 inch piece of heavy duty foil. Drizzle butter mixture over corn. Fold edges of foil to seal pouch securely, leaving space for expansion of steam. Grill over medium hot coals, turning occasionally, about 15 minutes.
Makes 6 servings.

Homemade Orange Ice Cream Recipe

3 c. sugar
3 oranges - juice of
3 lemons - juice of
3 c. whipping cream
3 c. milk

Put sugar in large mixing bowl. Pour juices over sugar. Let mixture sit for 15 minutes. Then, stir thoroughly. Add cream and milk, stir again. Freeze in ice cream freezer according to freezer directions.

Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream Recipe

4 eggs, beaten
2-1/4 c. sugar
3 lg. cans evaporated milk
Sweet milk to finish filling freezer
4 1/2 tsp. vanilla flavoring
1/2 tsp. salt

Mix eggs, sugar and evaporated milk together. Cook until it begins to thicken. Cool. Add extract and salt. Mix. Pour into freezer container and finish filling with sweet milk. Freeze according to freezer instructions.
Makes 1 gallon

Fresh Strawberry Ice Cream Recipe

3 cans Eagle Brand milk
3 (10 oz.) cartons sweetened strawberries

Mash strawberries. Add Eagle Brand milk. Pour into ice cream freezer and fill with milk. Freeze.

Oreo Cheesecake Recipe

1 pkg. Oreo cookies
2 small boxes instant vanilla pudding
1 large container Cool Whip
1 8-ounce pkg. cream cheese
1 stick margarine, melted
3 cups milk

Crush cookies with rolling pin. Place in the bottom of a 9x13 inch pan. Save crumbs to sprinkle on top Pour margarine over crumbs in pan, mix milk and cream cheese; add pudding and mix well. Pour this over crumbs. Then top with Cool Whip. Sprinkle with leftover crumbs. Chill.

Vegetable Salad Recipe

6 medium tomatoes, quartered
1 medium green pepper, cut into vertical slices
1 medium onion, sliced and separated into rings
1/3 C cider vinegar
1/4 C sugar (I use sugar substitute)
1 1/2 t celery seed
1 1/2 t prepared mustard
1/2 t salt
1 large cucumber, peeled and sliced

In a bowl, combine the tomatoes, green pepper and onion. In a small saucepan, combine the vinegar, sugar, celery seed and mustard; bring to a boil and boil for one minute. Pour over vegetables. Let stand until room temperature. Stir in the cucumber; cover and refrigerate for at least two hours.
I make a double batch of the dressing, refrigerate half and then just nuke it until it's hot for another time.

Marble Pound Cake Recipe

2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup stick margarine, softened
1-1/2 cups granulated sugar substitute ( Splenda )
3/4 cup egg substitute
1/2 cup evaporated whole milk
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tablespoon powdered sugar

Process SPLENDA in a blender, mini chop, or food processor to make
powdered or confectioners sugar ). Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
F. Spray a 12-cup bundt cake pan
with nonstick cooking spray. In a medium bowl, whisk together the
flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

In another medium bowl, with an electric mixer at medium speed, beat
the margarine until creamy, 2 minutes. Gradually blend in the
granulated sugar substitute, 1/2 cup at a time. Add the egg
substitute and milk, blending until smooth. Add the flour mixture to
the margarine mixture in thirds, and blend until smooth, 2 minutes.
Put 1 cup of the batter in a small bowl and stir the cocoa into it until evenly colored; set aside. Pour half of the remaining yellow batter in the prepared bundt pan. Spoon the chocolate mixture onto this layer without smoothing it out. Gently spread the rest of the yellow batter on top. To marble, take a knife and cut through the entire batter, swerving the knife back and forth.

Bake until golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center of  the cake comes out clean, 30-35 minutes. Cool for 10 minutes, then nmolded by sliding a thin knife around the cake, pressing against the pan. Invert onto a cake plate. Cool completely, then sprinkle with powdered sugar substitute.
