Nancy, I found that you can order the My-T-Fine lemon pie mixes from Walmart.com. Also Amazon has it, but it is more expensive from Amazon.

In the June 1, 2020 Newsletter, Mary J requested a Grape Salad recipe that was posted here some time ago. I think this could possibly be the one she is looking for.
It was posted by Frances in Wesley Chapel, FL, in a 2006 Newsletter. Most every Grape Salad recipe is very similar to this one, and they are all very good.
I hope this might be what she is looking for.

Grape Salad

3 pounds seedless grapes, red or green or a combination of both
1/4 to 1/2 cup sugar, to taste
8 ounces sour cream
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup chopped walnuts, or chopped pecans
1/2 to 1 cup light brown sugar, to taste

Wash and stem grapes; drain.
In large mixing bowl, combine sugar, sour cream, cream cheese, and vanilla until smooth.
Pour over grapes; mix until thoroughly combined.
In separate bowl, mix nuts and brown sugar together. (I use the maximum amount of brown sugar, because I love the mix of the flavor with the sweet/sour of the grapes.)
Pour grape mixture into serving dish; sprinkle top with sugar and nut mixture.
Chill and serve.

This recipe makes a very large portion (suitable for a family gathering of 20 or possibly more, depending on appetites).
Recipe may be halved.

Keeps well in refrigerator for several days (if it lasts that long).
Warning: This stuff is addictive! The last few times I've made it, I've bypassed many of the meats and carbs and all the chocolate desserts...and ate this till I was ready to pop.

Here are two recipes I use for baked apples. It came from your newsletter a long time ago.

Baked Apples #1

6 lg. apples
6 tbsp. bread crumbs
6 tbsp. dark brown sugar
2 tbsp. margarine or butter, melted
3/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
2 tbsp. raisins
1 1/2 c. boiling water

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Wash and core apples; arrange in greased 9 x 9 x 1 3/4 inch baking dish. Combine remaining ingredients, except water; use to fill apples. Pour boiling water around apples (use more if necessary to make 1/2 inch deep). Bake 50 minutes or until tender, basting with syrup in dish. 6. Serve hot or cool with whipped cream if desired.

Here is another Baked Apple recipe my family loves.

Baked Apples #2

6 lg. baking apples, peeled and cored
6 tbsp. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
2 tbsp. butter or margarine
1/2 - 3/4 c. apple juice

Place apples in shallow 2 quart casserole. Pour 1 tbsp. sugar into cavity of each apple. Sprinkle each with 1/4 tsp. cinnamon and 1/4 tsp. nutmeg. Top each with 1 tsp. butter. Heat apple juice to boiling. Pour juice into casserole. Bake uncovered at 400 degrees for 50-60 minutes or until tender, basting occasionally with juice.

We have to go frugal at our house since both us at our house lost their jobs due to the virus. Here are a few early marriage recipes I plan to use again. I have been with this group since 1997 but this is the first time I have sent anything into the newsletter. My husband suggested I send my favorite frugal recipes because there may be others out there who are in the same shape we are (broke.) These are all early marriage recipes from the 1960s. All these recipes serve 4 people.

Ground Beef Stroganoff

1 lb. ground beef, browned and drained
1 med. onion, diced
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can milk
1 can mushrooms, drained
1 tbsp. soy sauce
1 (8 oz.) sour cream

Brown together hamburger and onion. Add rest of ingredients. Heat until bubbly. Serve over 3/4 package cooked and drained egg noodles. Wayne Youngblom

V-8 Soup

1 lb. ground beef, browned and drained
1 env. dry onion soup mix
2 (1 lb.) cans Veg-All vegetables, juice & all
48 oz. of V-8 juice

Combine and simmer 15 minutes or longer. I use any leftover vegetables I have instead of Veg-All.

Beef and Tators

1 lb. ground beef (raw) (I usually find ground beef with little fat in it for this recipe)
1/2 sm. onion, diced
17 oz. can cream style corn
4 med. potatoes, peeled and cut in 1 inch cubes

Place ground beef raw in chunks on bottom of 2 quart casserole dish. Season with salt and pepper. Add onion. Layer potatoes over meat. Season with salt. Pour corn over potatoes. Dot with pats of butter. Bake in microwave about 25 minutes, stirring gently once or twice. Friendly Neighbors

Southwestern Beef and Rice Casserole

1 lb. ground beef, browned and drained
1 can cheddar cheese soup,
1/4 can soup can of water.
1 (16 ounce) can Ranch style beans
1 (16 ounce) can Spanish rice

Brown the ground beef; drain. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine ground beef and all other ingredients. Bake in a 9 1/2" x 11" casserole dish for 35 minutes. I serve it with tortilla chips.

Easy Apple Salad

1/4 c. Miracle Whip
1/4 c. plain low-fat yogurt
2 lg. red apples, cored & diced into
1/2 inch pieces
1/2 c. celery, diced
1/2 c. walnuts, coarsely chopped
1/4 c. raisins

In a large bowl mix Miracle Whip and yogurt until smooth. Stir in remaining ingredients. Mix well. Cover and refrigerate at least 2 hours before serving.

Twice Baked Potatoes

4 lg. potatoes
1/3 to 1/2 c. milk
2 tbsp. parmesan cheese
2/3 c. sour cream
1 tsp. salt

Scrub potatoes. Prick. Bake 16 to 18 minutes. Cover and allow to finish cooking. Cool slightly. Cut in half lengthwise. Scoop out potato and mix with remaining ingredients. Mash until smooth and well blended. Spoon mixture into potato halves. If desired, top with grated cheese or bacon bits. Microwave on High 4 minutes. Serves 8.

Oven Fried Potatoes Wedges

8 lg. unpeeled potatoes
1/2 c. oil
2 tbsp. Parmesan cheese
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. paprika
1/4 tsp. pepper

Cut potatoes in wedges; place on baking sheet. Mix remaining ingredients and brush over potatoes. Bake in preheated oven 375 degrees for 45 minutes or until done. Data Processing

Most people make Orange Slice Cookies at Christmas but my family loves them year round.

Orange Slice Cookies

1 large egg
3 Tbsp vegetable oil
1 cup chopped pecans
1 box yellow cake mix

10 regular size orange slice candies, cut into small pieces. Place all ingredients in a mixing bowl and mix until thoroughly blended. Drop the dough by teaspoonful size quantities onto an ungreased cookie sheet and bake in a preheated oven at 350 for 9 to 10 minutes.
Cook's Note: I use kitchen scissors sprayed with non-stick cooking spray for cutting the orange slice candies.

Marmalade Muffins

This muffin recipe has a surprise marmalade center.

2 cups all-purpose flour, sifted
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup shortening
1 egg, well beaten
1 cup milk
marmalade, about 1/2 cup

Sift dry ingredients together; cut in shortening. Combine beaten egg with milk; turn into dry mixture and blend just until moistened Grease muffin tin or place paper liners in cups. In each muffin cup, place 1 tablespoon of batter. Place a teaspoon of marmalade in the center of each then cover with remaining batter (each muffin cup about 2/3 full). Bake at 400 for 25 to 30 minutes. Makes 12 muffins.
