3 cups whole wheat flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
buttermilk as needed
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup brown sugar

Bind dry ingredients with buttermilk. Add vanilla. Put in cake pan. Bake at 300 degrees until golden brown. Cool. Crumble. Dry. Store in tightly lidded jar.

Yield: 3 cups.
