Potato Soup

5 large potatoes, cubed
1 large carrot, grated
1 large onion, chopped
1 stick celery, chopped
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
3 strips bacon, cut fine
1/2 cup milk
1 large can evaporated milk

Boil all ingredients until potatoes fall apart. Crush with potato masher until only tiny lumps remain. Add one large can evaporated milk and 1/2 cup fresh milk. Heat through. Do not boil.
