Angel Biscuits
1 package yeast
1/2 cup lukewarm water
1 tablespoon
3/8 cup oil
2 1/2 cups self rising flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup buttermilk
Dissolve yeast in water and mix well. Add sugar and oil; continue mixing. Add
buttermilk and mix well. Combine flour, salt and soda. Gradually add this
mixture to liquid. Beat well after each addition. Cover and store in
refrigerator. Dough keeps well for 4 or 5 days. When ready to use, take out
amount desired, put on floured board, roll out, and cut out and place on greased
pan. Bake at 400 degrees.
