Corn Fritters

1 cup Bisquick
1 cup fresh cut corn off the cob
1/8 teaspoon salt

Mix Bisquick with corn and milk enough to hold dough together, but not runny. Mix in salt and a dash of pepper. Heat oil until it is hot and about 1 inch deep. Drop in tablespoon at a time and do not crowd in pan. Brown on one side and then on the other. When golden brown on all sides, take out into dish.
