Mississippi Style Biscuits

2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 plus cube butter or margarine, soft
1 (8 oz.) container plain yogurt
1/3 cup buttermilk
1 heaping tablespoon sugar

Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Cook at 425 degrees. Combine flour, soda, salt and baking powder. Cut in butter or margarine. Mix yogurt with milk and stir into flour mixture. Let rest 10 minutes; turn out onto floured plastic sheet. Knead dough 25 to 30 times. Pat out dough to about 3/8 to 1/2 inch. Cut biscuits to size you wish, about 2 inches. Place on cookie sheet and bake 12 to 14 minutes depending on your oven.
Makes 15 biscuits.
