Shredded Apple Drop Biscuits
1 cup Bisquick mix
2 tablespoons chopped walnuts, optional
1 tablespoon sugar
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/4 cup apple juice or apple cider
1/4-1/2 cup shredded, peeled apple
In small bowl combine Bisquick mix, chopped nuts, sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg.
Make a well in the center of dry ingredients. In another small bowl combine the
shredded apple and the apple juice. Add the apple mixture - all at once - to the
dry ingredients. Stir until dough clings together. Drop the dough from a
tablespoon onto a greased baking sheet. Bake at 450 degrees for 10 minutes.
Serve warm (is better).
Makes 6-8 biscuits.
