2 cups self-rising flour
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup buttermilk
1 teaspoon soda (add to buttermilk)
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla

Frosting
1 stick margarine
6 tablespoons buttermilk
4 heaping tablespoons cocoa
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 (1 lb.) box powdered sugar
1 cup chopped pecans

Bring to boil margarine, buttermilk, and cocoa. Take off of heat and add vanilla, powdered sugar and pecans. Beat until thick and pour over warm cake.

I have a hour for lunch, and make this often to take back to the office for an afternoon treat. Soooo very easy to make.

* Powdered buttermilk does not have to be mixed separately. I just add the powder with my flour and the water with the my other liquids and let it mix in the batter.
