Maple Pudding Cake

1-1/2 c. flour
3/4 c. sugar
2 tbsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. milk
1 1/2 c. maple syrup
3/4 c. water
2 tbsp. butter

Combine flour, sugar, salt and baking powder in bowl. Stir in milk. Spread batter in 9" pan. Combine syrup, water and butter in saucepan. Heat until butter is melted. Pour over batter and bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees.
