Potato Casserole

1 med. onion, chopped
2 tbsp. fat
1 lb. ground beef
Salt and pepper to taste
1 can green beans, drained
1 can condensed tomato soup
5 med. potatoes, cooked
1/2 c. warm milk
1 egg, beaten
1/2 to 1 tsp. salt

1/2 tsp. pepper
Brown onion in hot fat; add meat and seasonings; brown. Add beans and soup; pour into greased casserole. Mash potatoes, add milk, egg and seasonings. Spoon and spread over meat mixture. Bake in moderate 350 degree oven for 30 minutes.
Serves 6.
