Cranberry Sauce

1 can whole cranberry sauce
1 red Jello (3 oz.)
1 cup boiling water
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 apple, diced
1/4 cup walnuts

Heat cranberry sauce and strain. Dissolve Jello in juice and water. Add salt and lemon juice; chill. Fold in cranberries, apple and nuts. edges are lightly browned. Remove and cool on a wire rack. Makes 42 cookies.
