Rhubarb Torte

1 c. all purpose flour, divided
5 tbsp. confectioners' sugar
Pinch salt
1/2 c. butter
2 eggs
1-1/2 c. sugar
3 c. sliced fresh rhubarb
3/4 tbsp. baking powder
Whipped cream

In mixing bowl, combine 3/4 cup flour, sugar and salt. Cut in butter as for pastry. Put into a 6"x10" pan. Bake crust at 375 degrees for 10 minutes. Meanwhile, beat eggs, sugar, flour and baking powder. Fold in rhubarb and spread over baked crust. Return to oven and bake 35 to 40 minutes. Serve with whipped cream. Serves 8.
