Teriyaki Ginger Steak Marinade

3 teaspoons ground ginger
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (1-2 cloves)
1 teaspoon onion powder
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon brown sugar
2 tablespoons vinegar
1/4 cup white wine (optional) if omitted, double vinegar
1 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup water

Combine all ingredients and pour over steaks. Marinate steaks 3-8 hours. After removing steaks, heat remaining marinade to boiling and thicken with cornstarch for an excellent steak sauce.
