Corn Pudding

Six. good-sized ears of green corn cut through each row lengthwise and the pulp pressed out with back of knife. To this add one cup of milk, three well-beaten eggs, butter size of an egg, salt and pepper and a scant teaspoon of cornstarch. Bake in an earthen dish one-half hour. Enough to serve six persons.
