Grandma's Buttermilk Waffles

3 cups flour
3 tablespoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 tablespoon sugar
3 eggs, beaten
2 cups buttermilk
6 to 8 tablespoons, melted butter

Sift together flour, baking soda, salt, baking soda, and sugar. Beat eggs until
light and foamy. Add 2 cups of buttermilk to them. Add the liquids to the dry
ingredients, then add remaining 1 cup buttermilk. Mix in the buttermilk and make
the batter thin if desired. Add butter and pour onto waffle iron.
Makes 10-12 waffles.
