Pumpkin Butterscotch Brownies

1/2 c. soft butter
1 (16 oz.) can pumpkin
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. nuts
2 c. dark brown sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. oats
1/2 tsp. soda
2 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
1 1/2 c. butterscotch morsels

Mix butter and sugar, add pumpkin, eggs and vanilla. Stir in remaining ingredients, except butterscotch morsels. Spread in a greased and floured 15 1/2" x 10 1/2" x 1" pan. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 25 to 30 minutes. Remove from oven and sprinkle morsels on top. Let stand 5 minutes then cut into squares.
