Pumpkin Tea Cake

2 c. sugar
1 c. oil
2 c. pumpkin
3 eggs
3 c. flour
1 tsp. each: cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, baking powder, baking soda, salt

Combine first two ingredients in a large mixing bowl and mix well. Add rest of ingredients and mix well. Pour into ungreased tube cake pan. Bake at 350 degrees for about 1 hour and 15 minutes or until cake tester comes out clean. Both fresh pumpkin or canned work well in this recipe.
