To Print
out only the recipe highlight it with your mouse, right
press on the highlighted recipe. Choose the option PRINT.
Change the Print Range from ALL to SELECTION. Press the PRINT

KALE SOUP WITH SAUSAGE
|

1 lb. stew beef (cut into 1-inch cubes)
1/2 lb. linguica or chourigo (cut into slices) (Portuguese sausage)
1-2 qt. water
Dash of salt
3 lg. potatoes, cubed
3 carrots, cubed
1 bunch kale, chopped, or 1 pkg. frozen kale, defrosted
1/2 cabbage, chopped
1/2 pkg. elbow macaroni
1 can white kidney beans (optional)

Peel and cut up potatoes and carrots. Add salt, meat and Portuguese sausage to the pot of water. Simmer and cover until meat and sausage is almost tender. Then add carrots, beans, cabbage and kale. Cook for 45 minutes or until kale is cooked (keep covered). Add potatoes and elbow macaroni. Occasionally stir the soup so that the potatoes and macaroni won't stick to the bottom of the pan. Simmer and keep covered until potatoes and macaroni are cooked.
